A new shadow installation will be open for viewings from October 19 to December 3 at the NUKU museum cellar floor. The installation catches the viewer’s eye with light and shadow techniques, inviting them to think about the essence and possibilities of visual art from different angles and to see things through 360 degrees.
Under the name of Emotional Landscapes, the artist duo Alide Zvorovski (visual arts) and Katri Pekri (puppetry arts) have since 2012 created environment-specific artwork. The group aims to interpret the connections between a modern mindset and nature, with a focus on mapping out the sore points of our surrounding environment. Their mediums are abstract puppetry arts, photo and video arts, installations and performance art.
Opening of the installation takes place on October 19 at 4:00pm.
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
