A play that turns children into grown-ups and grown-ups into children
When the aviator who crashed in the desert was a child, he drew a picture of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant, but adults who looked at the drawing only saw a hat. After that he gave up drawing, until he met the Little Prince – a boy with golden hair, a yellow scarf and a lovable laughter who had a strange habit of evading questions. The Little Prince asked him to draw a sheep and that established their friendship.
During the eight days in the desert that the aviator is fighting for his life and trying to repair his plane, the Little Prince tells him about his own life. He talks of an asteroid, of his love for a rose and of his journey to Earth filled with strange encounters on six asteroids. It is on Earth that the Little Prince finally finds answers to his questions, discovers the value and uniqueness of his rose and learns the meaning of responsibility.
